The Series C40 Pneumatic Positioner is a direct, single acting force balance instrument having a characterized feedback suitable for use with spring or fixed air pressure return linear actuators. The simple, single stage pilot uses no small restrictions, and along with a unique feedback system, provides a versatile and reliable link with all types of actuators.

Hysteresis: less than 0.3% of full span
Supply Pressure Effect: 0.2% of output span/psig supply pressure change
Full Flow Capacity: 4.5 SCFM with 35 psig supply pressure
Full Exhaust Capacity: 4.0 SCFM with 15 psig balance pressure
Supply Pressure: 20-150 psig (limited to the safe pressure of the actuator)

PRESSURE GAUGES: for reading instrument signal, output pressure and supply pressure
BY-PASS VALVE: to isolate the positioner for servicing
INTERGRAL ELECTRIC LIMIT SWITCHES: to indicate upper and lower limits to travel
